We had this item shipped to my parents' house because we were planning to visit and didn't want to carry it on the plane. They set it up easily prior to us getting there. We decided to break it down to visit some friends and while my husband was re-opening it, it wouldn't latch right. We turned it upside down and saw a screw missing from the support beams and one beam was slightly bent. We were able to get it to work that night; however, it was worse when we returned to my parents. We contacted the company, and they sent a completely new one at no charge. Luckily, this did not ruin our visit, and we were able to get a replacement.

After much research, I've come to one, main conclusion on these "Play Yards"--aside from the accessories, they're all pretty much the same. They all collapse in exactly the same manner: you pull a handle up from the bottom which brings the feet in, push a button on each rail which lets you collapse the top, and you end up with a long-ish cube of about 30" x 10". They're quite clever, but require a bit of practice and are not as simple as some of the strollers and car seats that do their thing in a singlle button/lever. The extras to look for include: a bassinet, a changing table, a utility shelf, a hamper, a diaper bag, a carrying bag, a dangly thing with cute smiling critters for baby to look up at...

This one has pretty much what you see: a bassinet, a utility shelf, and a changing table. It also has a carrying bag though in reality I doubt we'll use it (perhaps for long term storage). The price is great--there are many other play yards with exactly the same features (some even by the same manufacturer) that cost $50 more! I have not been able to figure out why this is, but there you are.

The changing table and bassinet were the only add-ons we cared about. The build quality is fine--not outstanding, but everything works, and it's got it where it counts--it collapses as well as any of the others I've tried, and the changing table feels quite sturdy (the changing table was my main concern). The utility shelf is a bit flimsy, but we didn't really care about that anyway. We're pretty happy with this play yard, though I will say baby hasn't actually come yet. I'll try and update the review if we discover any issues once baby's here--but from what other parents have told me, updating Amazon reviews may not actually be a top priority at that time...

One last note: if aesthetics are important, you might note that what appears to be Red in the pictures is actually quite Orange, giving the color scheme more of a retro-70's feel. We didn't mind this, but it was a little surprise upon arrival.

- Has changing table--and it's pretty sturdy

Bad:
- The little utility shelf which clips onto side near the changing table is a bit flimsy and in fact has a warning not to put more than 3 lbs in it.
- Collapse and set up, depending on how technical you are, may take some practice. It's is no different than any of the others in this respect, though (and those green markers on the rail buttons help).
